Notifications and Preferences

You control what Seli tells you at every step. Tune notifications so you stay informed without the noise.

Notification types

• Order updates - placed, confirmed, picked up, out for delivery, delivered.
• Payment and payout alerts - escrow release, payout sent, refund completed.
• Messages - new buyer/seller messages and delivery messages.
• Product and store - offers, price drops on favourites, listing view spikes.
• Tutorial and feed - promotions and news from Seli.

How to control them

1. Open Settings
   Account → Settings → Notifications.

2. Switch categories
   Toggle each channel (push, email, SMS) per category.

3. Set quiet hours
   Suppress push notifications at night.

4. App-level
   Use your phone's own notification settings to fully mute the app.

Important notifications cannot be muted

A few alerts are always delivered: recovery codes, security warnings, and anything legally required (such as policy changes). You can't silence these.

Notification language and frequency

Set your preferred language in Settings. Marketing emails are batched and respect your choices - you can opt out at any time with one tap.
