Escrow is the payment protection that makes Seli safe. When you pay for an order, your money is held safely by Seli - not sent straight to the seller. If no dispute is raised, escrow funds are automatically released 24 hours after delivery confirmation.

You choose a product and pay with card, credit, or another supported method.Funds enter escrow
Your payment is recorded as 'protected'. The seller can see your order but cannot touch your money yet.The seller fulfils
The seller prepares your item and a verified Seli Pilot picks it up.Delivery
The Pilot delivers your item to you. You may be asked for a delivery code to confirm receipt. You confirm
After checking the item, you confirm you received it in good condition.Escrow releases
If no dispute is raised, Seli automatically releases your payment to the seller (minus fees) 24 hours after delivery confirmation. Your order is complete.
What happens if something is wrong?
If your item never arrives, arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, do not confirm the order. Contact the seller through your order, or raise a claim within 24 hours of delivery confirmation. The money stays in escrow while the issue is reviewed - see Refunds and Claims.
The protection window
You have 24 hours after delivery confirmation to raise a claim. If no dispute is raised in that window, escrow is automatically released to the seller 24 hours after the confirmed delivery.
Scammers may ask you to send money directly by bank transfer or to another app to 'save delivery fees'. Orders paid outside Seli are not protected by escrow - always complete payment inside the app.
