Editing and Pricing Shemi Listings

A Shemi draft is a starting point, not the final word. Here's how to shape it into a listing that sells.

Edit any field

  • Title - make it specific and keyword-rich (brand, model, size, colour).
  • Description - add measurements, material, what's included, flaws.
  • Category - double-check Shemi's guess, especially for niche items.
  • Price - override with a price you're happy with.

Give Shemi instructions in plain words

Use the chat-style instruction box to refine without touching fields manually. Examples:

  1. "Make the title shorter and leading with the brand."
  2. "Mention that it comes with the original box and manual."
  3. "Rewrite the first sentence to sound more premium."

Swap or add photos

You can replace the cover photo, add more photos, and attach a short video - just like a manual listing. Shemi only read the first photo, so add the rest yourself for accuracy.

Setting the price right

  • Check the current price of similar items in Seli search.
  • Account for condition - a barely-used item sits above worn.
  • Decide whether to offer free delivery (fold the fee into the price) or charge one.
Small tweaks, big results

Buyers skim titles more than descriptions. Investing 30 seconds to sharpen the title and price usually matters more than perfect paragraphs.
