Two ways to leave Seli: deactivate (temporary) or delete (permanent). The difference matters around your money and history.
Deactivating (temporary)
- Hidden from buyers and other users; your store pauses.
- Orders in progress are cancelled or fulfilled before deactivation.
- You keep your balances, store and favourites.
- Reactivate anytime by signing back in.
Deleting (permanent)
- All personal data is removed and your account can't be restored.
- Deletion is irreversible - including any remaining credits.
- A cooling-off period of a few days applies for disputes and tax holds.
- Deleting does not remove required financial records (receipts) we must keep legally.
Before you delete - where's your money?
Withdraw all balances
Withdraw merchant/pilot balances and use up or request refund of any credits.Check open orders
Delivery may hold funds until orders complete.Resolve claims
An active claim pauses deletion until it's settled.
How to request deletion
Go to Account → Settings → About your account → 'Delete account'. Confirm with your password, review the summary, and submit. The account enters a short final period before permanent removal.
After deletion
Your email/phone becomes available for a new account. We retain only what the law requires (such as transaction records for financial compliance) and never use it for marketing.
Once the deletion period ends, we can't restore your account, purchases, store or messages. Export any receipts you need before deleting.
