Setting up an authenticator app
Go to Settings
Account → Settings → Security.Tap 'Set up authenticator'
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.Save recovery codes
Copy the 10 codes somewhere safe (password manager or printed copy).Confirm
Enter the current code from your app to finish.
Security habits that work
- Never share your password or codes with anyone - support included.
- Review sign-in history in Settings for devices you don't recognise.
- Turn off SMS forwarding and remote features on your phone.
