Two-Factor Authentication and Security

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second check beyond your password, protecting your account even if your password leaks.

What Seli does automatically

  • One-time codes on sign-in from a new or unrecognised device.
  • Identity checks for sellers and pilots at onboarding.
  • Risk checks on high-value or unusual orders.

What you can add (2FA methods)

MethodHow it worksBest for

Setting up an authenticator app

  1. Go to Settings
    Account → Settings → Security.

  2. Tap 'Set up authenticator'
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.

  3. Save recovery codes
Copy the 10 codes somewhere safe (password manager or printed copy).

  4. Confirm
Enter the current code from your app to finish.

Security habits that work

  • Never share your password or codes with anyone - support included.
  • Review sign-in history in Settings for devices you don't recognise.
  • Turn off SMS forwarding and remote features on your phone.

Lost your phone or 2FA app?

Recovery codes are the fastest way back in. Lost those too? Contact support - we'll verify your identity before granting access.

Beware 'Seli support' phishing

Seli never asks for your password, codes, or a payment 'for verification'. Anyone who does is a scammer - report them.
