Opening a Store

Opening a store lets you sell on Seli Market with a dedicated storefront, escrow-secured payments and tracked delivery handled by Seli Pilots.

Requirements to open a store

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You need a verified Seli account (phone number and email).
• You need government-issued ID for identity verification (NIN, driver's licence or passport).
• Your bank account must be in your name so we can send payouts.
• You agree to follow our Terms of Service and sell only permitted items.

How to open a store

1. Go to Sell
   Tap 'Sell' or 'Open a store' in the app and choose 'Start selling'.

2. Set up your store
   Add your store name, category, description and a profile photo or logo.

3. Verify your identity
   Upload your ID and take a clear selfie. Verification usually completes within minutes, but can take up to 48 hours on weekends.

4. Add a payout account
   Enter your bank details. We make small test deposits and ask you to confirm them, so we know the account is yours.

5. Start listing
   Once verified, publish your first listings with photos or Shemi AI and go live.

Store approval

New stores are reviewed for authenticity and policy compliance before going live. If your store is not approved, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
