Creating a Listing

You can create a listing manually in a few minutes - or let Shemi AI draft the whole listing from one photo (learn how).

How to add a product

1. Open your store
   Go to Store in the app and tap 'Add product'.

2. Add photos and video
   Upload clear photos. A short video clip makes your listing stand out in the video-first feed.

3. Write the title
   Be specific: brand, model, size and colour. Example: 'Nike Air Force 1, size 42, white' instead of 'Sneakers'.

4. Set your price
   Enter the selling price. Seli adds a 5.5% seller fee which is deducted from your payout - see Fees and Pricing.

5. Choose a category
   Pick the most accurate category so buyers can find your item in filters.

6. Add condition & details
   State whether it's new, used, or refurbished, and add size, colour and other details.

7. Publish
   Review and tap publish. Your listing goes live immediately and buyers can find it in search and the feed.

Do's and don'ts of good listings

• Do use a clean, well-lit, single-object photo as your cover image.
• Do show imperfections honestly (scratches, signs of wear).
• Don't use stock photos or other sellers' images.
• Don't stuff the title with keywords or ALL CAPS.
• Don't put your phone number in the description - all communication happens in the app.

Editing, pausing and deleting listings

From your store dashboard, you can edit any listing, pause it so it stops showing to buyers, track how many views it has received, or delete it permanently.
