Shemi is designed for everyday sellers, but it has a few sensible limits. Here's what they are and how to fix common problems.

Shemi won't describe these
Shemi refuses to produce listings for items that are prohibited on Seli or that require age verification to photograph. For the full list, see Prohibited and Restricted Items.
Common errors and fixes
| Error | What to do |
|---|---|
| 'Couldn't read the photo' | Use a clearer, larger photo with the item centred and well lit. |
| 'Unsupported file type' | Convert to JPEG or PNG and retry. |
| 'Limit reached' | You've hit today's draft limit - finish or delete some drafts and retry tomorrow. |
| 'Shemi is busy' | We're scaling - wait a few minutes and try again. |
| Wrong category guess | Edit the category field yourself; Shemi's guess is only a suggestion. |
